In the greatest secrecy in Bristol, Massive Attack returned to work. Initially dispersed at the end of 2004, each one in his home-studio, then in a collective way since few weeks, the band works on his new album. "We have a package of songs now, confirms 3D. We currently try to search a direction, a new virgin land to colonize... "
The new album of the group is already fixed for the beginning of 2006 and will precede a vast tour. "I need to tour, I need to see the world again", says 3D. Before that, he will have to recover Daddy G, absent from 100Th Window, and back to the group after a year of "vacations", for family reasons. "I will perhaps not see him before September. He is in his motor home and goes to all European festivals, sometimes in DJ, generally as a simple witness. He adores that!"
Among the voices already considered, we should find Liz Frazer (Cocteau Twins) and the veteran Horace Andy. New guests like Tunde Adebimpe, singer from TV One The Radio, band like Brooklyn The Dragons Of Zint, and Terry Callier are also envisaged. Before that, 3D has to realized two new soundtracks and work with one of the singers of 100th Window, Hazel Fernandez. "It is refreshing for me to write out of Massive Attack, for other peoples."
